Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius extended his greetings to Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and the people of Sweden on the occasion of the National Day of Sweden. On behalf of the people of Lithuania and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, the Prime Minister wished Sweden every success, prosperity and wellbeing in the future. 

“I am sincerely delighted with the successful bilateral cooperation between our countries. Mutual understanding helps us to achieve goals in developing partnership and cooperation in various fields of common interest. I appreciate our very good relations and have trust that the Lithuanian- Swedish partnership and friendship will continue to grow in the future”, reads Prime Minister‘s letter to the Swedish counterpart.
