Free Home Delivery of Passports Now Available from the U.S. Embassy

The Embassy of the United States of America in Vilnius is pleased to announce that the Consular Section is now offering free delivery of your passport to your home or office following your visa interview at no additional cost.  This service is only offered within Lithuania.  Registration must be completed online before the end of the day of the interview appointment with the Consular Section, and applies to both immigrant and non-immigrant visa applicants.  Register at www.ustraveldocs.com/lt/.  Your passport and visa will be returned via courier within 3 to 5 business days of the interview.

Immigrant visa applicants will need to create an account on www.ustraveldocs.com/lt/ if they do not already have one.  For information regarding how to log on or create an account, please call or email the US Travel Documents call center at +370 5 2140560 or [email protected]. 

Non-immigrant applicants (tourists, business travelers, students, those traveling on work visas) can register for home delivery as part of the scheduling system already in place at www.ustraveldocs.com/lt/.   

The option to pick up passports and visas at the Consular Section at the American Embassy is still available for those who prefer to pick them up in person.  This free delivery service is offered to all residents living within Lithuania in order to save our applicants an additional trip to the U.S. Embassy.
