New daily European groupage service from DSV Transport

Beginning of May 2013 sees the introduction of DSV Daily Pallet, a new, high-quality service offering daily pick-up and departure with on-time delivery of palletised groupage shipments between 35 and 3,500 kg to and from anywhere in Europe.

DSV Daily Pallet is the result of a comprehensive customer dialogue with feedback from more than 1,300 customers in 21 countries. “The valuable insights received from our customers have enabled us to design this new groupage service according to their everyday challenges and needs. With guiding principles such as predictability, flexibility, and high frequency, DSV Daily Pallet is designed to keep our customers’ business up to speed,” says Kim Bartholdy, Managing Director of DSV Transport.

Daily pick-up and departure

DSV Daily Pallet will operate across the existing pan-European network of DSV Road as well as through the company’s European groupage network connecting 32 European countries on a daily basis to the main hub near Stuttgart, Germany. Launched internally in 2011, the European groupage network has been thoroughly tested over the last 18 months. “This operational model offers our customers a strong and reliable transportation network capable of securing daily pick-up and on-time delivery throughout Europe,” Kim Bartholdy adds.

Value-adding services

The introduction of DSV Daily Pallet in May 2013 is just the beginning. With standard service offerings such as easy online booking, daily pick-up and departure, on-time delivery, full European coverage and many other features, DSV Road can already now announce that DSV Daily Pallet will be offering additional value-adding services in the very near future.
