Paysera starts offering transfers in USD to China

With the Christmas season approaching, Paysera, one of the longest-operating fintech companies in the Baltics, has offered businesses the opportunity to pay for goods, commodities, and technology in US dollars to manufacturers and suppliers based in China.

"China and the US are the European Union's main trading partners, which makes the money passage from Europe to these countries important for businesses that buy goods, technology, or production components. We have already supported US dollar transfers to the US, and now we have something to offer to those importing from China as well," says Gintautas Mežetis, CEO of Paysera LT. 

The ability to send US dollars to China is a result of an agreement and integration with the international financial services platform Airwallex.   

According to the EU, EU imports from China in 2019 reached 363 billion EUR and 472 billion EUR in 2021. On a daily basis, the EU imports 1.3 billion EUR worth of Chinese-made products.
