The geospatial data collection platform manufacturer AISPECO has secured a €1.45 million investment

The geospatial data collection platform manufacturer AISPECO has secured a €1.45 million investment from venture capital fund Innovestor Venture Capital and NGL angel syndicate. Superhero Capital, who participated in earlier funding stages, also contributed to the investment.

According to AISPECO CEO Mantas Vaskela, the funds will be used for the company's expansion and innovation, with a particular focus on high-value products, such as the HELIUX FOCUS stabilization (gimbal) system. "Trust is extremely important to us, so we will make every effort to meet the expectations of investors, working with double dedication and aiming for the highest quality," adds M. Vaskela.

HELIUX FOCUS is the latest AISPECO product, powered by artificial intelligence, designed for aerial data collection. The system uses best-in-class image sensors, and artificial intelligence recognizes fixed objects and calculates their precise coordinates. This allows the system to accurately orient cameras towards target objects, even while the aircraft is in motion.

An Innovestor Venture Capital partner, Myron Seto, notes that they invested in AISPECO because they believe in the importance of the geospatial data acquisition sector, including applications such as climate data, geological surveys, power line assessments, roadway conditions, and many others. Additionally, AISPECO excels at making their products—designed to be mounted on drones and other surveying vehicles—versatile, cost-efficient, and easy for customers to learn and use. Their traction over the past few years has been impressive, and Innovestor Venture Capital believes the company has a very bright future ahead.

NGL CEO, Justinas Pašys, adds that their syndicate of 60 angels decided to back AISPECO with a combined €423k investment after engaging with the team since 2022 and witnessing their consistent ability to grow the business and double revenues year after year. Founded by geospatial experts, AISPECO's client base already includes major international corporations, underscoring its credibility in the market. Roughly half of the startup's revenue is generated from the U.S., highlighting its strong international presence and ambitions. NGL was also impressed by the company’s potential and early use cases in the defense sector.
