Voltronas Expands in France with New Heavy-Duty Truck Service Centers in Nantes and Bordeaux

Voltronas, a European heavy-duty vehicle service network, is expanding its operations in France with two new service centers strategically located in Nantes and Bordeaux.
The move strengthens the company’s position in Western Europe and supports its long-term goal of building an integrated network of service facilities across key European logistics corridors.

“A heavy-duty truck standing still means a direct financial loss for the carrier. That’s why speed, quality, and reliability are essential,” says Tomas Karpavičius, General Manager of Voltronas LT. “We’ve spent the past few years refining our processes and strengthening our team’s expertise. Nantes and Bordeaux are locations where every minute matters for international transport routes — our mission is to get every client’s truck back on the road as quickly as possible.”

Strategic Locations Strengthening Europe’s Logistics Network

Nantes, one of Western France’s main logistics hubs, connects Atlantic ports with Spain and the Benelux region. The area is home to major agri-food, maritime, and aerospace industries that depend on uninterrupted supply chains.
A nearby Voltronas service center helps carriers reduce downtime and maintain reliable route continuity across Western Europe.

Bordeaux, located on a key North–South transit route linking France with the Iberian Peninsula, handles some of the country’s heaviest freight traffic.
The new Voltronas facility in the region provides immediate access to repair and technical support where every hour of delay directly impacts operating costs.

Both centers are strategically positioned — in Grandchamp-des-Fontaines near Nantes (3 bis Rue Olivier de Serres, 44119) and Saint-Jean-d’Illac near Bordeaux (503 Rue André Marie Ampère, 33127) — ensuring optimal access to Europe’s busiest transport routes.

“Each new location strengthens our ability to support carriers on Europe’s most active logistics corridors,” adds Tomas Karpavičius. “Reducing downtime and keeping fleets moving is at the core of what we do.”

In every Voltronas service center, great attention is given to driver comfort. Each facility features dedicated rest areas with TVs, free Wi-Fi, newspapers, and board games, as well as computers and printers for work-related tasks. Drivers can enjoy coffee, tea, and snacks, use washing machines, and store their belongings in personal lockers. This environment allows them not only to rest while waiting for repairs but also to spend their time productively.

Adapting to a Changing European Logistics Landscape

The expansion reflects Voltronas’s response to evolving challenges in the European logistics market, including driver shortages, fluctuating supply chains, and rising operational costs.
In this environment, service accessibility and response time have become key factors in maintaining competitiveness.

Voltronas positions itself as a trusted maintenance partner for transport operators, helping them avoid costly delays through quick diagnostics, efficient repairs, and consistently high service standards.
This approach has led to steady growth in its international client base and increased trust among European logistics companies.

Growth Built on Team Strength and Precision

In recent years, Voltronas LT has focused on internal development — standardizing processes, optimizing workflows, and investing heavily in employee training.
The company’s motivational system allows it to offer some of the most competitive salaries in the market, ensuring stability and nearly eliminating staff turnover.

Currently, 96% of repair work is completed the same day, and 92% of customers say they would recommend Voltronas to other carriers.
In 2024, the company served 941 transport and logistics firms from across Europe, including clients from Germany, France, Spain, and the Baltic region.

A Unified European Vision

With its new presence in France, Voltronas continues to strengthen its integrated service network across Western Europe, ensuring consistent support for carriers throughout the region.
The company’s vision is to provide consistent, high-quality technical support for carriers throughout Europe — wherever the road takes them.
